NotationFlow currently shows a public showcase. Signed-in team members can use the full site. Free public tools are being prepared for launch.

Who operates the site

NotationFlow is operated by Music Notation Hub Inc., Ontario, Canada. Contact hello@notationflow.com.

Accounts and your work

Google sign-in through Supabase provides your email, name and avatar. Signing in does not upload your local work. When enabled, saving to your account sends project titles, notes and workspace metadata. Browser storage and downloaded copies stay on your device. Keep copies of work you need.

Account data is kept while your account exists. It is deleted within 30 days of account deletion. Backups roll off within 30 days. Deleting an online project does not remove copies on your device. Billing records are retained for 6 years.

Hosting and security

The website is hosted on Vercel. Supabase provides sign-in and the database in Supabase US East. These providers may process operational and security logs. Tool forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check for bots. Turnstile receives the verification token and technical request information.

Audio tools at launch

When hosted audio tools open, audio is sent to our hosted processing service to deliver your result. Uploads are deleted when the job finishes. Results are deleted within 2 hours. Your audio and results are never used to train models.

The planned audio integration uses a visitor cookie to enforce preview limits. It keeps temporary job ownership and daily preview counts in server memory. The service receives a pseudonymous caller identifier, not your email, name or account identifier. No lyrics, file names or download links are stored or logged by that integration.

Lyrics hyphenator

The hyphenator stores no lyrics. It remains available only to the team until a separate public opening decision.

Launch notifications

If enabled, a tool’s Notify me form stores your lowercased email address, the tool identifier, consent text version and signup time in Supabase. Consent is required. We use it to email you when that tool opens. Unsubscribe any time by contacting hello@notationflow.com. We keep Notify me email addresses until that tool opens or you unsubscribe, for at most 12 months. Notify me emails are sent by us when a tool opens. The provider will be named before the first send.

Cookieless analytics

When enabled, Vercel Web Analytics provides aggregated measurements of page visits without analytics cookies. We do not send form entries or email addresses as analytics events. No analytics cookie banner is needed for this cookieless measurement. See Vercel’s privacy notice for its retention practices. Sign-in and audio preview cookies serve separate functions.

Age and governing law

You must be at least 13 to use NotationFlow. If you are under the age of digital consent in your country, you need a parent’s or guardian’s agreement.

Ontario and Canadian law govern these terms. Consumers keep the mandatory rights of their own country.
