How to hyphenate lyrics for Dorico

Dorico does not hyphenate lyrics itself. Prepare the text here, then paste it into the lyrics popover.

1. Paste English lyrics into the tool and select Hyphenate.
2. Check Words to check and Musical choices, and edit the result if needed.
3. Copy one section without its [Verse] or [Chorus] label.
4. In Dorico's Write mode, select the first note and press Shift+L.
5. Press Ctrl+V (Cmd+V on a Mac) once per word or syllable.
6. If a word or its last syllable is sung over several notes, press Space after it. Dorico shows either a gap or a lyric extender line after the lyric.
